Kristina Cannon Bonventre
American artist
 
Kristina Cannon Bonventre trained in art at the Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo, Ohio, working in watercolor, acrylic, and ceramics.  Her paintings were in the Impressionist and Realism styles.  Her mother, Christine Hildebrand Cannon, and maternal grandfather, Walter David Hildebrand, were also painters.
 
She graduated from Case Western Reserve University (BA, MA, Anthropology) and Harvard University (PhD, Anthropology). 
 
After a hiatus, during which she was a university professor, journalist, and photographer, she returned to painting in the Abstract tradition.  
 
She is a resident of Cambridge, Wayland, and Edgartown, Massachusetts.
